I Cor 1:18 “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved, it is the power of God!”
Seven facts Biblical preaching cannot omit.
I. WITHOUT SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE IS NO REMISSION FOR SIN
Heb 9:22 “Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins”
II. WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD
Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him”
III. WITHOUT HOLINESS NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD
Heb 12:14 “Strive for holiness without which no one will see the Lord.”
IV. WITHOUT WORKS FAITH IS DEAD
James 2:26 “For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead”
V. WITHOUT LOVE I AM NOTHING
I Cor 13:1-2 “If I am without love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have faith to remove mountains, yet without love, I am nothing.”
VI. WITHOUT DISCIPLINE YOU ARE NOT GOD’S CHILDREN
Heb 12:8 “If you are without correction, which all must receive, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.”
VII. WITHOUT JESUS YOU CAN DO NOTHING
Jn 15:5 “Jesus said, I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing”
