#1. HE DELIVERED ME BY FORGIVING ME
1. RICH GRACE
Eph 1:7-8a “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished upon us.”
Acts 10:43 “Everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.”
2. FORGIVENESS COSTS
Is 43:25 “I am He Who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake”
Ps 103:12 “As far as the east is from the west, so far does He remove our transgressions from us.”

#2. HE DELIVERED ME BY REDEEMING ME FROM SIN
1. FREED
Rom 7:4 “Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to Him who has been raised from the dead”

2. PURCHASED

#3. HE DELIVERED ME BY RECONCILING ME TO GOD
1. MY DEFIANCE TO FAITH
Rom 5:10 “For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by His life.”
I Pet 3:18 “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.”
2. HIS WRATH TO MERCY
II Cor 5:19 “In Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them”
II Cor 5:20 “We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”

#4. HE DELIVERED ME BY SANCTIFYING ME
1. PERFECTED

#5. HE IS DELIVERING ME FROM THE EVIL AGE
1. SURROUNDED BY EVIL
II Cor 4:4 “The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God.”
Eph 2:2 “In which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience”
2. KEPT FROM EVIL
Gal 1:4 “Who gave Himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age”

#6. HE IS DELIVERING ME TO A NEW LIFE
1. RESCUED
Rev 1:5-6 “To Him Who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood and made us a kingdom, priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen”
Rom 6:14 “Sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace”
2. PURE IN AN IMPURE UNIVERSE

#7. HE IS DELIVERING ME TO CHRIST ALONE
1. NEW FOCUS
II Cor 5:15 “and He died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for Him Who for their sake died and was raised.”

2. NEW PASSION

#8. HE IS DELIVERING ME TO LIVE BY FAITH
1. PARADOX
Gal 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ Who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Rom 6:6 “We know that our old self was crucified with Him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin”
2. FULL LIFE

#9. HE WILL DELIVER ME FROM JUDGMENT
1. FEAR IS GONE
Heb 2:14-15 “Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery”
I Thes 5:10 “He died for us so that whether we are alive or dead, we might live with Him”
2. PENALTY PAID
Heb 9:28 “Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for Him.”
I Thes 1:10 “We wait for His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, Jesus Who delivers us from the wrath to come.”

#10. HE WILL DELIVER ME FROM THE GRAVE
1. RESURRECTION POWER
Rom 6:3 “Don’t you know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?”
Rom 8:11 “If the Spirit of Him Who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He Who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.”
2. FREEDOM
II Tim 2:11 “If we have died with Him, we will also live with Him”
Rom 6:5 “If we have been united with Him in a death like His, we shall certainly be united with Him in a resurrection like His.”

#11. HE WILL DELIVER ME TO HEAVEN
1. DEATH IS THE ENEMY
I Cor 15:54-55 “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O grave where is your sting?”
Jn 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
2. ETERNAL LIFE
Jn 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”
I Cor 2:9 “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined . . . God has prepared for those who love Him.”

#12. HE WILL DELIVER ME FOR HIS GLORY
1. GOD’S PLAN
Acts 4:27-28 “For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, Whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, to do whatever Your hand and Your plan had predestined to take place.”
Gen 50:20 “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.”
2. GOD’S GLORY
Rom 8:28 “We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.”
Heb 2:9 “We see Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death.”
