I. CONFIDENT COMMITMENT: Our Inward Response to Danger
A. RAISING
Jude 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,
1. STEP ONE: STUDYING (Acts 20:32; 2:42; Eph 4:11-13; I Pet 2:2; I Jn 2:14)
2. STEP TWO: SUPPLICATING (Deut 17:19; I Jn 5:14-15; Rom 8:26)
B. REMAINING
Jude 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
1. STEP THREE: SUSTAINING (Rom 5:6; Jn 15:9-11; Heb 12:6)
2. STEP FOUR: SEEKING (Jn 5:24; Titus 2:12-13; I Cor 1:7)
These are the core disciplines of Christian living: Bible study, Prayer, Obedience, and Hope
II. COURAGEOUS CONDUCT: Our Outward Response to Danger
A. REACHING (the Confused about Christianity)
Jude 22 To the doubters show compassion;
1. STOOPING (Gal 1:6-8; Jas 1:6-8; Eph 4:14)
2. SHOWING COMPASSION (II Tim 2:25; Jn 3:1ff; Jn 19:38-40)
B. REMOVING (the Convinced of other Religions)
Jude 23a rescue others by snatching them out of the fire;

2. SNATCHING (Jn 4; Is 33:14; Lk 11:39-40; 7:36, 48-50)
C. RESTRAINING (the Committed to Evil)
Jude 23b and to others show mercy with fear, hating even underwear soiled by the body.
1. SHARING (Mt 10:16; Rom 16:17-18)
2. SEPARATING (Rev 3:4; Acts 9:10-15)
