II. TABERNACLE COMMANDED
A. PLACE OF GIVING
>>1. MOTIVATION
Ex 25:1-2 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Tell the sons of Israel to raise a contribution for Me; from every man whose heart moves him you shall raise My contribution.” (Ex 25:9, 25, 40, 26:30, 27:8; Num 8:4; Acts 7:44; Heb 8:5; Ex 29:27; Ex 30:13; Num 15:19; II Cor 9:6-7; Ex 35:5, 21-22, 25-26, 29)
>>2. MATERIALS
Ex 25:3-7 “This is the contribution which you are to raise from them: gold, silver and bronze, blue, purple and scarlet material, fine linen, goat hair, rams’ skins dyed red, porpoise skins, acacia wood, oil for lighting, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense, onyx stones and setting stones for the ephod and for the breast-piece. (Ex 25; 35; 38:21)
Ex 36:3-7 “They received from Moses all the contribution that the people of Israel had brought for doing the work on the sanctuary. They continued bringing him freewill offerings every morning, so that all the craftsmen who were doing every sort of task on the sanctuary came, each from the task that he was doing, and said to Moses, “The people bring much more than enough for doing the work that the LORD has commanded us to do.” So, Moses gave command, and word was proclaimed throughout the camp, “Let no man or woman do anything more for the contribution for the sanctuary.” In this way the people were restrained from bringing, for the material they had was sufficient to do all the work, and more.” (Ex 11:2)
B. PLACE OF TEACHING

Ex 25:8 “Let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them.
>>2. PICTURE
Ex 25:9 “According to all that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, just so you shall construct it.”
Lev 11:44-45 “For I am the LORD your God. Consecrate yourselves, and be holy, for I am holy. For I am the LORD who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.”
C. PLACE OF SERVING
>>1. SPIRIT-FILLED DESIGNER
Ex 31:1-5 The LORD said to Moses, “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, to work in every craft.
>>2. SPIRIT-FILLED CRAFTSMAN
Ex 31:6-7, 11-12 And behold, I have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. And I have given to all able men capability, that they may make all that I have commanded you: the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is on it, and all the furnishings of the tent . . . and the finely worked garments, the holy garments for the priest and his sons, for their service as priests, and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the Holy Place.
