I. ROLE MODEL OF A SOLDIER
II Tim 2:3-4 Therefore, endure challenges being a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No soldier gets entangled in civilian activities, thereby pleasing the one who enlisted him.
A. ACTIVITY OF A GOOD SOLDIER

II. ROLE MODEL OF AN ATHLETE
II Tim 2:5 If anyone competes [in the games], he does not receive the winner’s crown unless he competes according to the rules.

II Tim 2:6-7 And the hard-working farmer should be the first to receive a share of the harvest. Reflect on what I say, for the Lord will give you insight into this.
