    III. CONDUCT

    A. COMPASSION
    1. PETITION Jn 19:31 Since it was the day of Preparation, and so that the bodies would not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a ‘High Sabbath’), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken and that they might be taken down.
    2. CULMINATION Jn 19:32 So the soldiers came and broke the legs of both those who had been crucified with Him.
    3. SUPPOSITION Jn 19:33 But when they came to Jesus and saw He was already dead, they didn’t break His legs.

    B. CONCERN
    1. AFFLICTION Jn 19:34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and at once there flowed blood and water. (also I John 5:6 )
