I. THE BELIEVER AS A LIVING SACRIFICE
A. SACRIFICE
Phil 2:17 “But even if I am being poured out like an offering onto the sacrifice ministry coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.”

II. THE BELIEVER AS A LONELY SACRIFICE
A. SACRIFICE
Phil 2:19 “I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be encouraged when I receive news about you.”

B. SERVICE
Phil 2:20-21 “I have no one else who thinks like I do and is genuinely interested in you. They all look out for their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.”

III. THE BELIEVER AS A LOVING SACRIFICE

Phil 2:22 “But you know his proven character, because like a son with his father he has ministered with me in the Gospel.”

B. SERVICE
Phil 2:23-24 “Therefore I hope to send him after I see how things go with me. And I am confident in the Lord that I’ll soon follow.”
