    I. LIMITED PROVISION
    A. DISSIPATING SCENE

    Matthew 14:13 But when the crowds heard [that Jesus had left] they followed Him on foot from the cities.

    B. DISTRESSING SCENE
    Matthew 14:14 When He disembarked He saw a great crowd, and was moved with compassion toward them and healed their sick.

    C. DISHEARTENING SCENE
    Matthew 14:15 Now when it was evening, the disciples came to Him and said, “This is a desolate place and the hour is late; dismiss the crowds to go into the villages that they might purchase food for themselves.”

    D. DISCOMFORTING SCENE
    Matthew 14:16 But Jesus said, “They have no need to leave; you give them something to eat.”

    E. DISCOURAGING SCENE
    Matthew 14:17 They said to Him, “We have nothing here but five loaves and two fish.”

    II. DIVINE TRANSITION
    A. DISTINGUISHING SCENE
    Matthew 14:18 And He said, “Bring them here to Me.”

    B. DISPLAYING SCENE
    Matthew 14:19a And having commanded the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven and said the blessing.

    C. DISPENSING SCENE
    Matthew 14:19b Then He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.

    III. BOUNTIFUL CONDITION
    A. DISTRIBUTING SCENE
    Matthew 14:20a And all ate and were satisfied.

    B. DISPOSING SCENE
    Matthew 14:20b And they collected twelve baskets full of the broken pieces over and above.

    C. DISCLOSING SCENE
    Matthew 14:21 And those who ate were approximately 5000 thousand men, besides women and children.
